Who can have a Sigvaris?

There are 4 different grades of compression stockings
  • Mild compression – for mild venous insufficiency, tired aching legs, spider veins and superficial venous thrombosis
  • Medium compression – for moderate venous insufficiency, reversible oedema, following sclerotherapy, phlebectomy or vein stripping, varicose veins, varicose veins during pregnancy
  • Strong compression – for severe venous insufficiency, varicose eczema. Post thrombotic syndrome, non reversible oedema and post traumatic oedema, prior to and following vein stripping, phlebectomy and sclerotherapy, deep vein thrombosis, lymphodema
  • Very strong compression – severe venous insufficiency, venous stasis ulcer, sever post trombotic syndrome, lymphodema
